I am 19 years old and I recently graduated high school this past June. I have always wanted to travel and now is my best chance to do so. I am an avid reader and Ultimate Frisbee player - this past summer I was a member of the Junior Provincial touring team which was an amazing experience. I am happiest when I'm outside or exploring, I love to learn new things which is why I think traveling is an important thing to do for myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always wanted to travel and I am currently taking a year off between High School and University because now is my best chance to travel. I have chosen to use Couchsurfing because it is the most cost effective way to travel and I am going on a very tight budget as well as the fact that it is an amazing way to meet new people, other backpackers or people of the town and seems like a great way to experience wherever I am. I have heard great things about this program and am excited to use it myself. This is my first time using this program and as I'm traveling alone I am excited as well as nervous to use it but I have only heard good things and hope it goes well for me.
