About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I strive to impact the world by making positive change, however big or small.
ABOUT ME
I am a creative young woman who is inquisitive and who has a thirst for knowledge about the world and all those that live on it, and for the worlds beyond our own. The biological mechanisms that dictate our everyday lives, from the process of ATP synthesis in our muscles, to the complex interactions in the ecosystems around us fascinate me. Learning about the world, how it has evolved and how the creatures on it have adapted to suite changing conditions are all areas of knowledge that I am very keen to master. I also like to look beyond the skies of this planet, to the vast spaces that continue beyond comprehension; all things science interest me.
I am a neat, organized person. I am easy-going and accepting, and non-intrusive and respect other people's privacy. I like to laugh (who doesn't!), smile, and all-around have a good time and spread the positive vibes!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am currently travelling, and plan to continue travelling in the near future. Hosting won't be on my agenda for a number of years, but i would definitely like to get that started one of these days.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, I have met the most amazing host! Nothing but a positive experience so far.
Interests
I love to read. I will read any genre on any subject, but my favorites include fantasy and science-fiction. On the same hand, I also write (on occasion) and draw, and sometimes play Oblivion.
I am committed to maintaining my fitness and over health. It only makes sense that I therefore love to cook, and strive to perfect my methods in creating colorful, flavorful and nutritious dishes! I am also a proud vegetarian.
I am also a very active person, and I love being outdoors; hiking, cycling, rollerblading, horseback riding, jogging...I love it all.
I am a budding biologist. I have not picked my concentration as of yet, but I do know that I want to make an impact in changing the way the world consumes resources, and the way in which people interact with the natural environment. I find that having a connection with nature is an aspect that all people should have in their lives, for it is grounding, and humbling.
I love space! Stars, exoplanets, quasars, distant galaxies, future colonizations endeavors; I love it all! One of my dreams is to become an astrophysicist.
I love to explore, to learn, to travel, to meet new people and to forge new relationships with those that I meet along the way.
My personal motto: I strive to make positive change in the world in my lifetime, be it big or small.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are so many that i could never fully put everything down in writing. I have a voracious appetite for reading, and I will read anything and everything. I am mostly interested on books that deal with science-fiction and fantasy, one's that build on worlds beyond our own, or that demonstrate the vast powers of the imagination. I also do quite a bit of reading regarding biology and astronomy, and I love anything to do with scientific discovery and experiment, as I am a budding scientist myself.
On the same hand, my interest in movies also extends along the same line; i love those that deal with scientific concepts, or delve into the complex world of fantasy. I have an expansive imagination, so I like to read and watch material that nurtures my creative side.
As for music, my first and most favourite genres are death metal, hardcore, thrash metal, and some black metal. In general, I love anything in the world of metal and hard rock. I also enjoy the classic such as Elvis Presley, The Temptations, Johnny Cash, Marvin Gay, Ray Charles, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, The Gipsy Kings, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley...
I also love reggae, psy-trance, trance, drum n' bass, electronica, relaxing tunes, old-school rap..I love it all :)
Country is the exception. NOPE.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've gone ziplining, horseback riding, I've been inside Notre Dame, I've felt the history of countless generations in the Tower of London, I've walked thes treets of Paris, I've swam in the Caribbean sea multiple times, I've gone snorkeling...I've experienced as much as I can at this point in my life, and I don't plan on stopping. I want to see the world! At some point in my life, many years down the road, I hope I will have done enough to say to I've done so :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Knowledge is, in my mind, one of the most important assets that one can have. Strive to learn all that interests you, and never stop being a student! Life is about experience, so make as many experiences as you can; negative, scary, happy, bright experiences all work to shape you into the person you are now, and you will never stop changing so long as you wish it. Life is a journey, and it does not stop for you no matter how much you want it to at times. Remember that, and realize that while life does not stop, you call the shots. You are the only one steering this life of yours, so steer yourself where you want to go!
