About Me

Doctor. Photographer. Traveller. Writer. Culture and music enthusiast. Beginner of sailing, surfing and guitar playing. I dance and I laugh a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always loved to travel and meet new people. The most important thing in travelling are people. Their customs, way of living, way of keeing houses, cooking, everyday routine. You cant experience truly another culture and country living in a hotel. I met lots of unforgettable people in CS, which showed me part of their world that is different from mine. Also sightseeing with such person or recommendations from native inhabitants are of great value for me, because lots of such places are hidden or unknown making it for tourists imposible to access. As culture shapes the nation and country, I want to be as close to it as possible, because then travelling makes sense a lot.

The ones that made me think, so I have my favourite group, lets talk about it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went over 6000 km by hitch-hiking/autostop , for example Warsaw- Rome in 2 days and in Himalayas in a trucks decorated with Krishna.

Went to live in a country whose language I couldnt speak even a word, without any money due to theft, found randomly a flat from friend of friends of friends and finishing staying 2 years there, taking my stolen money back from thief, knowing now the language very well and the country more than my own. Thank you Spain.

Went to favela in Sao Paulo (but not the touristic one), thanks to knowing someone important (you know what I mean) from there who showed me the houses inside and people there. I guess I was the only tourist there:p

Spent a carnaval in Rio de Janeiro, the best "party" in my life

Went alone to Nepal without a plan and met a wonderful family with whom I spent couple of weeks observing their everyday life.

Randomly participated in very important buddhist celebration in Nara, Japan, with japanese politics cause I was lost and didnt leave the temple on time, so they let us stay there thinking probably that we were devoted buddhists.

Visited jungles in Brasil, Cuba, Thailand, Cambodia and Nepal, seeing wild animals and touching small crocodiles.

Made 2 photo exhibitions of my pictures from travels in Warsaw and in Madrid. I guess they were nice:) another one is coming soon!
