About Me
Things I love: Travel, Skiing, Indoor Bouldering, and Mountain Biking
Things I hate: A small rock in your shoe that won't leave no matter how many times you take it off
My Motto? Nothing, what's a motto with you?
I really enjoy meeting new people, and especially being introduced to new places. I haven't travelled much (yet) but I have some big plans. I am completing my last year in University studying History, Physics, and Math.
I am an outdoors enthusiast, I generally don't spend much time at home. I go from work to outside and don't get home until later in the evening. I am always up for showing you some great hiking, biking, or climbing spots. Though right now my climbing ablity is rather limited, one of my fingers broke recently while mountain biking. OOPS.
Rainy day? Museums are just as fun!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel is much, much more than a destination. It's people, their stories, experiences, and lives. Meeting new people and hearing about their lives gives me a much better appreciation for the place I am staying or that my guests are from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In one year I went from not mountain biking to racing!
It hasn't been easy, but I love riding trails now and remembering how much they used to scare me when I first started riding. It's been a pretty amazing sport to start and I am excited to continue racing next year!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you lots about bikes and cross country skiing, though it will be a little difficult if we aren't actually doing either activity. I am super involved in the active wear industry so ask me anything about tech wear for hiking, skiing, biking etc.
I want to learn more. About everything. About you and your life, about different job fields, about different topics in education. Anything you have to teach, I will listen.
Share stories, experiences, memories. It's the best way to keep those happy moments close.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Endless sarcasm and dark humour?
Joking, I can teach you the ways of Canadians. In just a day we can cover topics from learning your first moose call to drinking maple syrup like water.
I enjoy cooking and I can definitely share that with you. My favorite meal to cook is pasta, especially making the sauce.
I can share advice, my knowledge, my time. Let's be friends!
