About Me
ABOUT ME
My first reaction is to smile in many situations. I grew up in a small westcoast community so I've got environmental awareness running through my veins, but that's just 'cause I understand that what I actually have in me is a dependency on all natural aspects. I love nature and animals, probably more than I like people, but you wouldn't notice since I'm as polite as a button. Respectful and thoughtful are some adjective to describe myself that should be noted. Traveling for me isn't costly, because what I get out of it as a person is worth endlessly more then what is spent during a trip. I love music, though I can't play, and always have a hard time remembering names of songs, artists, etc. I've grown up appreciating quality. Over quantity. Reading, writing, I can usually hold my own in most philosophical conversations, and if not, I enjoy attentively listening just as much as conversing. Physically, I'm athletic, hiking boots, my camera, some water and a place to explore makes me happiest.
Interests
Days are different, they change, situations change. I love food, and relaxing. But I balance this with being active and curious, interested in new experiences. Engaging myself with meaningful projects offers fulfillment for me. I feel at home more in the forest or ocean than I ever could in a city, however a change of scenery for a little bit allows for growth on my part. I am often in amazement, and it's the funnest place to be.
I'm quite attached to my camera, and nature, and food, I love music, quality conversation, and animals hold my heart dearest. I've played soccer for 7 years, volleyball for 5 and I've rowed for 4, though rowing and soccer are my main organized activities. I hike, explore, I worked at an adventure company for 3 years, dealing in kayaking mostly. I love being out on the water.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sunsets, anywhere; listening to Maude Barlow and David Suzuki speak, in the same weekend; the meditraenean sea, like wow; my home, on the west coast of British Columbia, with trees wider than cars, and the ocean on all sides; baklava, in Turkey; Memiors Of A Geisha; a smooth row, on glassy water at sunrise; Looking over Prague from a beautiful Cafe on one of the highest points; have you ever seen the Rocky Mountains? You feel the amazement in your bones.
