ABOUT ME

I LOVE the water! I love to sail! Gardening is what I like to do, during the warm months, if I'm not sailing. I LOVE to dance to good classic rock and roll or other music - especially if it's live! I have 3 kids, 2 are grown and on their own, 1 is 15 and still lives with me and my husband. We've been married for 25 years. We have a 3 year old grandaughter who keeps us hoppin, when she comes to visit. We have a dog - Sadie - who is just an absolute sweetie. She's a mix between Irish setter and Springer Spaniel. We also have 2 loveable cats.

If you can walk - dance, If you can talk - sing!
Life is too short to worry about everything that you have absolutely no control over. Enjoy this phase of your journey - while you are here. And always remember that if you stumble, make it a part of your dance!

Interests

Water - of all kinds! Sailing, gardening, playing with the grandaughter, going out to hear live music, having a few beers and DANCING my butt off! I love all kinds of rock and roll, bluesy soul, funk, reggae, and combinations of all the above. Country and rap are NOT for me - sorry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can't pick just one - haha! I've helped other women give birth at hospitals and one at home, sailed a tall ship into the Baltic Sea at an International sailing festival in Kiel, Germany. Have remodeled and updated 7 different homes with my husband. Have been with my husband for 31 years - married for 25 of them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a certified childbirth instructor and love to share info. about all issues surrounding birth. I also love to sail - though we are boatless at the moment. Sharing sailing adventures is always a good time. I know a little about the healing powers of stones - but would like to learn more. Music is a HUGE love of mine, so I love to meet and get to know musicians of all sorts.
