About Me
Hi! My name is MaKenzie and I just graduated from university in Seattle. I studied civil engineering, focusing on water and sanitation. I worked for an engineering firm and ran an engineering project in Nicaragua through Engineers without Borders. I just graduated in June and am traveling a bit to celebrate. I love playing sports, hiking, scuba diving, reading, and exploring new cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined couchsurfing because I think it is an interesting option for traveling. I like exploring cities from a local perspective, not just the typical tourist activities. I want to be able to get to know new people and experience different cultures, which I think couchsurfing provides a good method for!
