About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be a light and healer to those who are in need, get around the world and see it with my own eyes, spread the joy of laughter, watch my grandchildren be born, meet new interesting people to share thoughts, knowledge, fun and friendship with.

ABOUT ME

OUTDOORS is my favorite place to be. I've lived in many places in the Western US including all over Cali, Wyoming, Washington State, Hawaii. I want to travel Europe by backpack and train hopefully sooner than later. Love to share stories with people and learn about others philosophies and actions that keep them enjoying this all too short life! I love truth, life stories and experiences, epiphanies, relating, connecting, sharing, helping, friendships that last a lifetime even when your far away.. celebrating life, healing others, living in the moment, being a part of the spreading of love and light with anyone in which our paths cross.

PHILOSOPHY

Love.. kindness.. creating.. growing.. sharing.. learning.. connecting.. healing..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new, and learning how to do just that!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Broke down returning from Sturgis South Dakota in '88, where a friendly trucker kept us for a week in Montana as we waited for parts, it was a great experience, and helped me have an outlook on being available when needs arise.. I have opened my home to people in many different situations where they would otherwise be stranded on the road, (or in airports), as well as dignitaries from many countries when I worked for an amazing non-profit org. I am looking forward to being part of this community, and making many new friends!

Interests

Love to cook, listen to music, garden, hike, camp, swim in the ocean, ski on lakes, ride down rivers, fly in or out of airplanes, go to live concerts, drive to anywhere on an adventure, see new places, learn, share knowledge, relieve people of pain, jacuzzi, the night sky, sunsets, nature, good conversation, sharing life's experiences, and making new ones! Enjoying family and friends. Must I say travel? My biggest dream is to travel this earth and experience all I can in many cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, love it even more when the show is live and amazing. So many books, so little time, as my son says, "I'd rather go do it than read about it". Movies.. well when I can't get out, i like documentaries, and adventure flicks that get me out anyway!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving birth, Haley's Comet, escaping death how many times?, Skydiving, being aware of God presence, Flying in small aircraft, connection between people that is beyond words, experiencing the ocean.. riding across country on a motorcycle, watching births of animals, Awareness of small and large Miracles.. the bonding of the spirits of people who connect.

Teach, Learn, Share

Massage Therapy can take people out of pain physically, as can many herbs and remedies. There are ways to remove migrane headaches for those who suffer from them, many other physical ailments as well. Food is very important for our bodies to remain healthy, and at times are also medicinal. Gardening then becomes beneficial. I make massage creams, lotions and oils, candles, jewelry, blankets, beanies, scarves. I cant live without my homemade chili (hot sauce) and also like to make fruit jams, sauces of many kinds as well as wine. I would love to learn to make beer :)
