ABOUT ME

Hey!
My name is Malin and I come from a small town nearby Gothenburg, Sweden. I´m 19 years old, just finished school and now I just want to travel! Me and my cousin, Terese, are traveling through Europe this summer and thought that a couch is the best place to sleep! We are both happy and open people and would like to meet lots of new people on our way through Europe, and maybe share some traveling stories.

Interests

Right now I´m working at a science center to save some money for our travels. Later on I intend to study, maybe law or international relations. I love all kinds of music and hope to experience a lot of new music on my travels. I also hope to do some dancing and partying when in a new town. My cousin who is traveling with me this summer has studied music the past three years and now intend to study art.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films: Together, Amelie, Billy Elliot, Harry Potter, What´s eating Gilbert Grape, A single man, Juno, I love you Philip Morris and Pippi Longstockings.

Music: Håkan Hellström, Salem Al Fakir, Loreen, Florence and the machine, Bob Dylan, House of trees, John Smith, Doktor Kosmos, Maria Mena, Lior, Antony and the Johnsons.

Books: My favorite books are all books by the Swedish author Jonas Gardell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is a festival outside my hometown Falköping called Dragonfly festival. It is an amazing multi arts festival with great music performances. It is a very intimate festival with acoustic and stage performances by artists like John Smith, José Gonzales and Little Dragon. One of my favourite moments in my life is the "Wildbirds and peacedrums" concert at Dragonfly festival. One of the many great things you get to experience there. I really recommend this place to anyone who enjoy music, art and meeting new people. It is held in Sweden late August.

Another great memory is when I was in Venice. It is an amazing city unlike any other. Just to walk in the alleys and look at the beautiful environment is macic!
