Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the time of creating this profile, I've decided to be on CSing because I'm traveling to Iceland with my boyfriend who has been on Couchsurfing for ten years, with him having had wonderful experiences both hosting, giving tours and surfing. His stories have piqued my curiosity and prompted me to travel with him with the hopeful help of sharing experiences with locals when we travel--and perhaps, too, in helping travelers here in the States by giving tours together for now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving birth to two beautiful boys! Having a special needs child, my youngest, has allowed me to appreciate everything on a level I'd never imagined before--and it is a gift to have him in my life.

I love to cook and would be willing to take part in preparing meals, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Michael and I look forward to traveling in Iceland and perhaps even to Nicaragua this coming summer, and we look forward to sharing stories about life experiences and such. We'd be totally willing to clean up after ourselves, help lend a hand in preparing meals, or treating hosts to a coffee or meal.
