I come from a family of 8 children, so we lived in crowded conditions, i.e. 3 kids to a bedroom. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I believe that couchsurfing is an excellent way to travel, because you can learn more from local people in the places you are visiting. This is the best way to learn, from meeting and talking to local people. It brings understanding, and find out things that you would otherwise might miss. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have a friend from Berlin for 20 years, and we visit and couchsurf from time to time.

I can share information, products, business, culture, where to find things, how things work, where to go. I've traveled in Europe, USA, Mexico, and Brasil, and have seen good things and bad. I can tell what I've seen that's worthwhile, and what is not. I can sometimes act as a courier, carrying products or gifts for people.
