About Me
Hi !
My name is Marc and I study latin american studies. In my spare time i really like to travel and meet new people! I'm interested in new cultures, languages (I am learning spanish and I really want to learn japanese) and new food. I love to cook and do sport.
I´m always interested in learning new recipes and in trying different kinds of food! My motto is to try everything as long as it looks good and interesting. Therefore I had spiders and silkworms before (I can actually recommend the silk worms!). Recently I got back into bouldering, but I enjoy any kinds of sports!
For me meeting new people and learning about different lifestyles is what couchsurfing is about and that´s why I love this community. Everybody I have met so far through couchsrufing was an outstanding and interesting individual that I could learn a lot from, that inspired me a lot and that helped me in my personal growth!
I'm excited to meet new people to explore the world together!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new friends all around the world ! :)
Having the opportunity to stay with people and getting to know them on a different more personal level. And so far I only had great experiences staying and meeting couchsurfers. Also the opportunity to help out and meet new people by offering them a place to stay or by helping them out on their trip!

Music, Movies, and Books
I´d say I have a wide range of music that I listen to, but my playlist changes every few weeks or months, so I´m always happy about new recommendations.
Some of my favorite movies are the dark night, Roma, Drive, Parasite, Kubo, City of God, the grand budapest hotel ...
As many favorite books, but my favorites are by Jo Nesbo at the moment
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Grand Canyon was definetly one of the most breathtaking experiences!
Visiting Japan! (I hope I will get the opportunity to go there again)
Standing on the plattform next to the waterfalls of Iguazu, because it was just breathtaking and gave me a different perspective on nature and the world.
Also the sheer beauty of colombia!
Teach, Learn, Share
I could help you to learn german or german recipes :). Also to share a different view on life, which is one of the most interesting things about couchsurfing.
We could share stories, experiences and adventures. I also would be happy to my student flat with people who decide to visit Hamburg.
