About Me

Marcello was born in Brazil and now calls Canada home. I came here for a while… and then I found love, but let’s skip the clichés 😅. Aniket was born in India and is a proud Canadian citizen. We met in Canada, and we haven’t stopped seeing each other since that first moment.

We’re both passionate about travel, discovering new places, meeting amazing people, and making friends along the way. Marcello is the hyperactive, “let’s go!” type 🕺🏻, while Aniket is calm, zen, and grounded 🧘🏻‍♂️. Together, we balance each other perfectly. At home we love spending time together, both of us, a glass of wine and some warm music, sometimes watching movies or a show and sometimes just quietly, seated one beside another. And we also love having friends over for a great chat, drinks and a meal. Going out, waking and sometimes hiking, we enjoy orchestral concerts, musical plays and just getting together with friends and family.

We love sharing our worlds with each other, introducing new experiences, cultures, and adventures, and every trip becomes a chance to grow, laugh, and create unforgettable memories. Whether it’s a sunrise, a street festival or a hidden corner of a city, we’re all about enjoying life fully and openly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We travel as a couple not just to see places, but to feel them through people.

Coming from Brazil and India and building our life in Canada, connection is a big part of who we are. We’re curious about how others live, think, and experience the world. We love those simple, real moments: sharing a meal, talking about life, exchanging stories.

For us, Couchsurfing is something personal. It’s about opening our lives to others, even briefly, and leaving with something meaningful that no hotel or itinerary could ever offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

• Marcello left the stability in Brazil to start a new life and build everything from the ground up.
• Aniket didn’t have many perspectives in India, so he took the chance to move abroad and create his own path toward progress and stability.
• Road-tripped through the vibrant deserts and palaces of Rajasthan, living every color and story along the way.
• Woke up early to watch the sunrise over the Taj Mahal. Pure magic.
• Danced through the streets at Carnaval in Brazil, feeling the heartbeat of the city.
• Swam alongside wildlife in Florida and Paraty, Brazil, embracing the unexpected.
• Conquered a jeep rally in the UAE, with sand, speed, and endless horizons.
• Chased breathtaking sunsets in Rio from Arpoador and over Dubai’s Palm Islands from a rooftop.
• Laughed and slid down the snowy toboggan hills of Canada.
• Stood in awe of the raw power of Niagara Falls and Iguaçu Falls, letting nature speak for itself.
• Accidentally found ourselves at a royal wedding in India. Definitely, an unforgettable twist of fate.
• Explored hidden gems, wandered local markets, and shared meals that became stories in themselves.
• Shared quiet moments watching life unfold in cities, villages, beaches, and mountains around the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

For us, hosting is never just about a bed, it’s about connection. Every guest brings a little world into our home, and we love sharing ours in return. From the flavors of a homemade Brazilian cuisine or an Indian taste to quiet moments watching the sunset with a glass of wine, we treasure the small things that make life rich.

Of course, as hosts, when our routines allow, we love spending time together, chatting, sharing meals, or enjoying a glass of wine.

As surfers, we are always curious to listen and learn about your neighborhood, your town, your country, and what brought you to this moment in your journey. We’re happy to contribute in return, keeping the place tidy, cooking together, and sharing experiences whenever the opportunity arises.

Hosting with us is about sharing life with heart: a mix of culture, adventure, and warmth, where we all grow, laugh, and leave with new memories that stay with us long after the stay ends.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We love being thoughtful and respectful guests, keeping the place tidy, organized, and clean, so everyone feels comfortable. We enjoy cooking together, sharing meals, and spending time connecting over food and conversation, whenever the opportunity arises.

We also bring a mix of cultures and perspectives! Between Brazil, India, and Canada, we carry diverse stories, traditions, and ways of seeing the world. We love cultural exchange, deep conversations, and learning from each other. That’s what Couchsurfing is truly about for us.

Above all, we value kindness, openness, and sharing experiences with heart, whether it’s exploring a city together, learning about your local life, or simply enjoying a quiet moment in your home.
