About Me

Currently living with a little cute dog in the beautiful town of Salzburg while working as a medical doctor in Germany and just started a balcony gardening project.
I have travelled quite a lot in the past, so I love having guests from all around to keep my connection to the world :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling but I don't think it's possible to get to know a place without getting in touch with the locals. One of the best things about travelling is meeting new people, because there are so many cool people with cool stories to tell and cool things to teach. So travelling becomes more than only seeing buildings, landsacpes and learning about the history. It becomes learning about life.

Interests

I love being outdoors as well as indoors by now.
I love to discover the beautiful nature around here as much as reading a good book and listening to good music. I also love to discover all the amazing city life that Salzburg offers! So many cool events going on!

Music, Movies, and Books

For music I like (almost) everything that doesn't get boring after a few seconds.
And to see what books I like, just come and check out my (beautiful) bookshelf

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, there are so many! I'll probably never forget hinking in the french alps with a donkey, who carried most of our luggage when I was 13 years old, where we camped with amazing views of the Mont Blanc. Neither will I forget so many situations in Cameroon, from teaching basic computer skills to deaf children with my very basic French sign language skills, over being invited to a Bayram party in the palace of the local king to visiting the village of my Ex-boyfriend that could only be reached by a 3h boat ride.
I also loved a 2 week trip to Iceland, hitchhiking and camping. It's such a beautiful country and I even learned some words of Icelandic!
Now I just came back from a 2 camper trip through Spain and Portugal making Podcasts from the van office ;-)

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I have a medical degree and spent the last years writing a podcast about obstetrics and gynecology, so if you have any questions regarding that, I'm always happy to explain (just stop me if i get carried away :D).
And I have the big "talent" of basically being able to get curious about anything, spending some time learning everything about it, loosing interest and moving on to the next topic. So my friends joke that I'm a walking dictionary, but my expertise is often on quite random topics.

What I Can Share with Hosts
