About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life. Waste no time (well, as little as possible)

ABOUT ME

I walk in awe. But not without inquiry.

PHILOSOPHY

Figured it out some time ago, but too long ago to put it in words. Began questioning all of that lately.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Bringing good times and conversation. I like to fill my time doing something worthwhile, but I love talking to people, and listen about their experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I hosted many people at my place.

Interests

I sing (pretty every delivery style) and play the guitar, write my own stuff, and get very excited over good music. I love to dance, too (to music that makes it possible to express myself, to go wild).

Music, Movies, and Books

Good old rock, psychedelia, 60s, 70s, folk, blues, jazz (think Ella , Satchmo, Billy), sophisticated country / country jazz / Americana (Norah Jones, Lyle Lovett), Indian Classical (sarod, shehnai, vocals, ghatam), Iranian Classical (santoor, doumbek), 90s alternative (Smog, REM)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I trained my voice pretty much entirely on my own to sing anything from Ian Gillan, through Ella Fitzgerald to Alfred Deller. Taught myself English. Taught myself darabukka. Taught myself the principles of dance. Essentially, I'm a self-educator.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach English (Cambridge CELTA) and my native tongue - Polish. Also basics of guitar and drum set. I studied religion, and love to expatiate on it in all of its aspects (especially history, myths, symbols and general world-vision).
I love dancing and jazz, ballet (tango and flamenco are on my list), so I'd be glad to learn / expand my knowledge of any of these.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bed (convertible), food, show places in my town, conversation.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Ireland, United Kingdom
