We might reach Istanbul hitchhiking at the end of the summer. But that's actually an excuse to get to know the people and places we come across on the way.
It is the first time that we plan to travel for such a long period of time - we know a couple of months can seem pretty short for most travellers, but we'd never managed to actually synchronize and be able to hit the road for that long, so we're looking forward to make the most of it (and also eat, and rest from time to time).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We chose to hitchhike on the way to Istanbul this summer, not only because money can be found wanting during such a trip, but because it is one of the best ways we know to actually meet people we would probably never have met, and share a moment with them before we go our separate ways.
We were told that couchsurfing is also a great way to create unexpected ties and share experiences, so we wanted to try and see if it matches us with someone on the way :)

Regardless, we will keep using it when back in Paris to meet travellers who are looking for similar sparks..

We're really into performing arts / time based arts (dance, theater and curious about other forms ...)

Also, independant organizations or collectives that try to create new ways to perform are very lively in Paris, we're very curious about independant scenes in the cities we plan to visit.

We like to learn about politics, or debate the right way to prepare an eggplant - we're not that open-minded though, there probably are things that we're not super interested about, but the rush of preparing the trip is quite exciting so we can't think of one at the moment.
