I listen to everything and I am trying to learn how to play guitar. I love singing and I am not bad at it, working on improving such skills.

Some books are very close to my heart like “Vidas Secas”, Graciliano Ramos; “Capitães de Areia”, Jorge Amado; “Dom Casmurro”, Machado de Assis”; “All about love”, Bell Hooks; “Open Veins of Latin America”, Eduardo Galeano; “The Garden of Forking Paths”, Jorge Luis Borges; “The Metamorphosis”, Franz Kafka; “A visit from the goon squad”, Jennifer Egan; “One Hundred Years of Solitude”, Gabriel García Márquez; “Disgrace”, J. M. Coetzee; “Caliban and the Witch”, Silvia Federici... The list goes on.

Now reading Saramago and Guimarães Rosa.
Also very fond of marxists authors but still at the beggining of this journey now focused on the social reproduction feminists such as Cinzia Arruzza, Lise Vogel, Nancy Fraser and Tithi Battacharya.

Also movies that moved me in some way include Lost in Translation, Melancholia, Wild, Dogville, Donnie Darko, The Congress, The Sound of Music, Chicago, Frida, Amélie, All About My Mother, Volver, 500 Days of Summer, Captain Marvel, Phoebe in Wonderland, Mary Shelley, Moulin Rouge, Spirited Away, A Clockwork Orange, Inglourious Bastards, Moonlight, La La Land, Mother!, The Faun Labyrinth, Mulan, Nappily Ever After, Never Let Me Go...

This movie post is outdated but I guess I still like these films. Some of my favorite now are The Lobster, Midsommar, C’mon C’mon, Minari, Lady Bird…
