Overview
About Me
Hello, I'm new to the world of couchsurfing and eagerly looking to meet good people from around the globe. I'm very much excited about the opportunity to make new friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've heard a lot of good things about this site and it seems like a great community. I'm very impressed how many hosts have 20+ people who have stayed with them. I'm not entirely sure if I'll be too good at this, but the goal is to at least try!
Interests
I'm a very goal driven person, so my activities and interests mirror that. I like going out to socialize and hanging out with my close friends is an occasional perk I enjoy whenever I have free time. I also love good food! I grew up in a family that enjoys group meals, trying new things, and always being open to new cuisines. I am the type who loves the buffet, not because I eat a lot, but I love being able to pick little bit of everything to put on my plate. If you hang out with me, I hope you are the same with being adventurous with food!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a romantic at heart, but I also love a good action movie. I love science fiction flims that have good stories and characters. So far, I'll say the Star Wars series (yes even the new one!) is one of my all time favorites in terms of movie plot development, characters, and music.
Great writers on my list? You can't go wrong with the classics: Emily Dickinson, Oscar Wilde, and the Bronte Sisters.
Music: I love anything with a good beat...well except maybe Country/Western. Prove me wrong!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Enjoying a month in Europe after graduating high school. It was my first time not being with my family and exploring the world, but I'm glad I did it. Went with my best friends from high school and it was such a great way to spend the summer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to treat others about how to be a more worldly person, mainly because we tend to look at the United States as being the center of the universe (it's not!). It would be nice to meet people from other countries who want to learn more about American culture, but at the same time have a free flow/exchange of ideas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My time, attention, and maybe a nice place to crash?
