ABOUT ME
I'm a medicine student who loves to travel and to get to know to new people. Currently I'm on ERASMUS (exchange program) in Istanbul.
I'm a bookworm but I also love activities outdoors.
I love animals (I'm a vegetarian) and spending time outside of the big city.
I'm open-minded, always ready to try and learn something new, friendly, helpful and easy-going.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
too little...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I courchsurfed in 2013 Ljubljana and once in Bukarest. It was a great experience, my hosts were really kind and helpful :)
In 2014 I hitchhiked through Poland and met amazing people via courchsurfing who made me feel like home.
Outside of couchsurfing I often stayed with friends of friends of someone a relative knows (you know how the story goes) a few times and usually it was lovely, I'm really grateful to my hosts and afraid I can never give back their kindness and hospitality!
About my own couch: Well, since I'm in Istanbul now I already got some visitors coming ahead, but feel free to ask, maybe we can arrange something for a night or two!
Interests
I read, I write, I love music. I'm always trying to learn a new language (not always successful, but still; at the moment it's Turkish). I love to go out and dance just as much as to stay in with good friends and talk all night long. I love travelling (low-budget) and the adventures you find on your way. Cooking together. Eating together. Exchanging ideas, culture, kindness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Loads of travel-connected stuff:
Crossing the polar circle :D (heading north)
My trip to Ljubljana, Slovenia, was definitely one of the best experiences of my life yet. One day we visited Bled.and what came to my mind first was: It looks like a holiday postcard, but it's real!
I also remember the first time I visited Berlin. I immediately fell in love with the city and now, some years later, I'm living there!
Oh; and moving to Istanbul. Best idea I had in quite some time.
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH
I can teach some German if you like. Also, if you always wanted to know why your body does this or that thing, feel free to ask the med student (because I'm kinda nerdy about that stuff). Oh, and if you want to learn how to bake vegan cakes - I used to be very good at that (just need some more practice).
LEARN
Some of your language - because languages are always useful. And I always wanted to learn how to play the guitar so if you can play, please show me!
SHARE
Anything from food to beer to ideas - depending on what is needed and what the other one is willing to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
travel-stories (some of them are pretty funny)
laughter
new memories
