We are a couple from Helsinki that likes to travel once in a while. We also enjoy hosting couchsurfers whenever available.

We are among other things freelance-workers, hich-hikers, creative, lazy, married, social, outdoor-people, beer-enthusiasts, vegetarians, christian (lutheran), nature-lovers, artists, for equality, justice and peace, coffee-lovers, making music, four-eyed, against capitalism, for dialogue over all borders, bicyclers.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

We've been members since 2009. At the moment we live in an apartment where we have decent facilities for hosting. We like to live spontaneously and that's why hosting and surfing when travelling suits us well. We like that there is an element of chance involved when we travel and also in our day-to-day life. Couchsurfing - and all the interesting people we get to meet through it - brings (nice!!) surprises.

Because of the spontaneous lifestyle of ours the best timing to send a request for us is a week or some days before. But even very short notice hosting suits us sometimes. If you are looking for endless crazy partying, we will probably not be your top choice. We still occasionally remember how to party, but it has become less frequent as the years go by :).

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

We like to hang out with the hosts and surfers, if you have time but will not be offended at all if you're busy. We are independent :). With surfers and hosts we like to play games, share a bottle of wine and experiences, we can sing and play to you or with you, we are not master chefs but we can still cook eatable food and have a long time experience of making our own vegetarian variations of traditional Finnish dishes.
