About Me

Always looking for who knows what!

Travelling makes me feel free, alive. My first big travel was to England, when I was 15 years old. My father asked me if a wanted a party or a trip as a gift, and I chose the second one. I went alone and stayed at a locals house, and I met a lot of wonderful people from everywhere in the world. Since then, I've been travelling through Argentina -i specially love the Patagonia region-, and I've also been to Bolivia, Perú and Ecuador.

Here in Buenos Aires I've recently graduated in Psychology at the Buenos Aires University. I work in a first infancy center with children and families in conditions of social vulnerability. I also work giving acting classes for kids and teenagers. I practice aerial silk, another thing that makes me feel free and makes wings grow in my back. When I'm not doing any of those things, I love reading novels, stories and poetry and -every now and then- writing too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet and help travelers who are looking to stay at Buenos Aires a few days, and I also want to find people who may help me to know new places, landscapes and ideas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I went to Lago Puelo, in the wonderful Patagonia. There were a lot of locals spending their afternoon there, and most of them had kayaks. I asked a family if I could borrow their kayak for a while, thinking it was a crazy idea since kayaks are really expensive and those people did not know me at all. However, they gave me their kayak and I paddled in the lake for a long while. I was looking down to the water, so clear and full of fishes when I felt the need of jumping. The water was freezing to the bones, but it was the most refreshing and revealing experience I have ever had. I was all alone in the middle of a lake, rounded by mountains and deep silence, feeling small and huge at the same time, like if I was another piece of the landscape. I went back to the feeling of being a human being just when I couldnt tolerate the coldness anymore!
