About Me
CURRENT MISSION
A ship in harbor is safe, but this is not what ships are built for, they say!
I'm living to explore and be enchanted by the world!
ABOUT ME
I enjoy arts, nature, books, music, conversations and traveling.
I finished my studies in cultural anthropology with a big interest in people, surprised of how unique we are as individuals and how many things we have in common when we come together with ease and authenticity.
Years ago, I founded a nonprofit organization in Romania, where we organized educational projects to help young people and adults develop their creativity and life skills.
I ran it for 7 years before moving to Portugal during the pandemic, to find a new life challenge.
I am currently working as a content creator in the digital marketing area and trying to learn Portuguese :D.
What I enjoy most when traveling is nature and culture. Whenever a host provides tips with parques, trails or art events and performances I'm the happiest.
PHILOSOPHY
Anybody who crosses your path is there to teach you something valuable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed since 2013 when I made street art trips around Europe as a living statue. Since then, I hosted and have been hosted by different couchsurfer around the world and I am charmed by the spontaneous connection you can find with people and places that were strangers before.
I met great people with impressive life stories, warm hearts full of generosity.
One of the most beautiful CS experiences was in Sahara where we've been hosted in the huts of a Saharaoui camel owner and listened to the silence of the desert under a starry immense sky.
Interests
I am more like an outdoor active person, so mountains, seas, gardens are places where I feel like home.
Conversations around imaterial things like poetry, soul, life, death... these kind of things :)) are a delight to my heart.
