Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, especially hitchhiking. For me, this is a unique kind of interaction with people, where I don’t just follow from point A to point B, but literally live every point of the path, on which there will be a lot of little adventures with completely different people, who in ordinary life would hardly have talked due to certain conventions.
For me, Couchsurfing is another way to satiate my journey: staying with people who grew up / have been living in a certain city for a long time, you can get to know the city from this particular person. Like in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: the usual guides are a mechanistic enumeration of historically significant places, but the person’s story about his city is a guide full of emotions and atmosphere :) In addition, Couchsurfing is extremely friendly to students who cannot afford to pay constantly hotels : D
And I am sure that every user at Couchsurfing is an interesting person who has something to tell, because behind him are travels, guests and hosts from different cities and countries. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I'm keen on a bunch of literary genres. I often read the science popular books biology, physics, psychology and other (my favorite writer is Oliver Sacks). Oh, I also love longrides in internet about, e.g., rationality :) As for fiction, the books with a bright atmosphere which I could feel, i.e, imagine the landscapes or deeps in heroe's experience (Harry Potter, Game of thrones, The house). Moreover, I'm really inspired by adventure books and literary for children :D

In case of music, I'm a music lover. Seriously! I like rock, electronic music, IDM, softly acoustic ballads and many other genres!)

In terms of films, Wes Anderson is my favorite screenwriter. Also I prefer films such as Swiss Army Man, Le tout nouveau testament, About time, Dans la maison, Frank, and other. It's important to note that I have admired cartoon for all my life =P
