Hi there. I'm doing an MA in Venetian art history and living in England at the moment. I've been studying art for the last six years and I'm inspired by loads of things, the most long-standing interests being medieval and avant-garde studies. I like changing direction once in a while though, so right now I'm doing a research on Renaissance illuminated manuscripts. I love literature and philology, even though it took me quite some time to get to this point. Reading is an absolute pleasure these days. The recently discovered passion is music - from Monteverdi and Beethoven, blues, jazz, and folk to techno and electronic music in general.

I enjoy being on the road and hitchhiking, enjoy having a certain destination so that it would be a challenge to get there and at the same time having none at all and travel wherever the road leads. I love cooking while having a glass of wine and listening to Nina Simone, long walks, wandering and getting lost, talking to strangers and when things happen by chance.
