my name is Marie and I'm a student from Leipzig who loves meeting new people and their way of life. I lived in Amman for half a year, doing an internship at the German Jordanian University. Now I’m back in Leipzig, where I only have a small one-bedroom apartment, so unfortunately I can’t host anyone.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like couchsurfing, because it means getting to know local people from the places I visit. I rather meet locals and learn about their way of life than staying in a hotel.
I think it is nice and sometimes quiet overwhelming to see a citys sights and beautiful spots, but what I like the most about getting around is talking and disucussing with many different people and hearing their stories and opinions. That way I already learned a lot about life and got chances to see things from a new or different perspective.

When I don't have the time to travel myself I still like meeting knew people and want to welcome guests to my city, make them feel comfortable, show them around, have a great time together and learn from each other.
