CURRENT MISSION Be more. Do less. ABOUT ME What shoud I say? This description is just a couple of words, but if you want to get to know me, get in touch :-) I recently moved in with my lovely boyfriend Paul in Breda, close to the border with Belgium. It is a medium seized city, according to a Dutch perspective, with a cosy city center that offers everything you need. Paul is a teacher in Environmental Sciences and I am a nutrition scientist and data manager, while also both doing some voluntary work. For holidays we mostly plan a cycling or hiking adventure. We started dancing tango together and eat vegetarian meals 99% of the time - we just like veggies. PHILOSOPHY The path is the goal and the goal is the path - by meditation master Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche - has always intrigued me. Sometimes I get so focussed on reaching a goal, that I forget about the humour and flexibility that I need to get there. It is not about the destination, it is about how we live our everyday life. Here & now. That`s what I like so much about meditation practice.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I was a couchsurfer while travelling through Scandinavia & I hosted a couple of couchsurfers while living in Utrecht (center of the Netherlands). All these experiences have been very pleasant and enriching. I really love to hear all the diffrent travelling stories.
Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Job hunting in Scandinavia Cycling 750 km from Nijmegen to Leipzig for a wedding
Teach, Learn, Share
We can discover Breda together - if you want - because I am still pretty new in this area. I can teach you Dutch, how to grow your own vegatables and bake cakes (that you soon become addicted to ;) ). I`d like to improve my French, German and Norwegian language skills and learn about other countries and cultures.
My Interests
I have a passion for everything that`s Scandinavian; starting first and foremost with the language, but of course also their impressive nature, crime series (Milennium, The Bridge), writers (Karl Ove Knausgard), the concept of `fika`, sauna`s, and the plant-based recipes of Green Kitchen Stories.
