Overview
About Me
I'm an artist and student living in Berlin.
I grew up in a small university town in Brazil, lived for many years in Chicago, and now attend art school in Berlin. In Chicago, I helped run a cultural centre and gallery, created projects for a community radio station, and edited an art, culture and politics magazine. In Berlin, I've helped found a project space and shared studio.
I work a lot in public spaces, on themes such as right to the city, urban development, materiality and exchange.
I like to dance, I talk about language, ecology, technology. I'm vegetarian.
Happy to tell & share more.
Marina.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people in the places I go to, without which I don't really have an experience of the place. To be able to travel within my financial boundaries and to give back in other ways to the lovely people who host me–cooking, showing music, sharing interests, ideas and knowledge, inviting to new experiences.
