ABOUT ME

I have many varied interests and love being around people. Even though I am getting older, I keep active - sports include racquetball, skiing, bicycling, kayaking, swimming, scuba, and I also enjoy playing chess and bridge, and other board games. I've lived in California and Hawaii, but now live primarily in the country in Connecticut (east coast, USA), and travel to Hawaii for winters.

PHILOSOPHY

I not only believe in keeping open minded and experiencing all that I can in my life, but also in helping others and giving back.

I would love to meet people in other countries and learn about their cultures, and share experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed for a month and once again for 2 weeks in Europe and had the most wonderful experiences! I've made new friends and seen places I Would never have learned of.

Interessen

Aside from those stated already, I also love movies, concerts, plays, any kind of musical show. Also sing in groups or choirs.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

While I like to read, I really don't take the time to read enough. I do however see alot of movies, and enjoy most kinds of music.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have traveled in many countries, and all over the USA and seen so many beautiful and wonderful places. The most amazing thing I have done is raise two beautiful daughters. I got scuba certified at age 61 and plan to see alot more of the "other world" under the sea... Scuba in Costa Rica was different and wonderful!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I really enjoy the company of all types of people, but those that have enjoyed a varied amount of interesting and different experiences are the most fun to listen to. I have done a fair share of traveling and done alot in my life. I hope I have something to offer.

Travel experiences and life experiences in general. I like to take my hosts out for dinner or treat them to something of their choice.
