HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I can put up a couple of people - hopefully a couple of people can put up with me (or put me up) - and if the stars are right, make an interesting contact, learn new things, broaden our horizons on every possible level... COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I would mostly call them backpacking experiences, not couch surfing ones - although there were couches involved. It was fun, but I suppose I'm too old for this sort of thing anymore... but I look back on those wild, adventurous times fondly!

Books: All the boring stuff really... ancient Greek and Latin literature - Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, Ovid, Tacitus, Horatio, Epicuros. Plus, the not-so-classical ones: Conan Doyle, R.E. Howard, H.P. Lovecraft, J.R.R. Tolkien, Steven King, Moorcock, R.C. Hoagland, Poe, Byrd, Ecco, etc... Music: Folk rock to the maximum (mostly)! Tri Yann, The Pogues, Soldat Louis, Trouble Makers, Landser, Kommando Skin, Vangelis, Xenakis, Division Germania, Rhapsody, Heimdall, Moriccone, Lucio Dalla, Jaques Brel, Maurice Chevalier and the list goes on and on... Movies: Sci-fi, action and Brit commedies.. Stargate (& Stargate SG-1), Die Hard, Leathal weapon, Conan the barbarian, Lord of the Rings, The big bang theory, Black Adder, Monty Pythons, Total recall, Starship troopers, Ultramarines, Capitaine Alatriste, etc, etc...
