About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet as much people I can! I prefer locals otherwise I could have stayed home1

ABOUT ME

I am a twenty five year old female from Holland. After my degree I packed my bags and went on a trip of five months. I arrived in New Zealand the fifth of december. I travelled from the south to the north Island in six weeks. To get to places I hitchhiked. That was the best experience ever. To meet the locals and other travelers. I like the adverture and it's a great way to learn how to make contact. Which I was a bit scared off before I went traveling. I arrived in Melbourne, Australia, the eighteenth of januari. I tried to get around by finding lifts on gumtree and I just had the trip of my life with a group of total strangers, but they became friends during the week in the Outback!
I like to laugh a lot and I am a fan of cooking and wine. But have to hurry now! Cause I have to bring the bike back to the rental place!

PHILOSOPHY

To share your experiences with others is much more fun than experience them alone.
Go with the wind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It opens new doors to the country you are visiting! Meet the people who live the life in the city or town you're in, which you can not really experience when you are staying in hostels or hotels. Plus when Surfers are visiting you, you can show them around yourself and that is much fun to do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Actually I experienced it only once in Adelaide a few weeks ago. The host drove me through the whole town and showed me places. That was such a nice experience. And the couch was very comfy!
