I'd like to think that I'm a pretty free spirited & laid back individual. I work part time as a special needs assistant for adults & children with a variety of intellectual & physical disabilities. I hope to begin studying psychology at University here in Ireland in the coming months. My passion lies in the arts of music & photography... and travel of course ! I love meeting new faces and visiting new places. The adrenaline inducing uncertainty and prospect of everyday adventure are what fuel my love of travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My main aims on Couchsurfing are to meet as many likeminded travellers across the globe and expand my horizons by opening my home to said travellers to share stories, experiences and opportunities that will hopefully last a lifetime AND to see as much of the world and learn about exciting new cultures from a unique standpoint. I believe Couchsurfing to be a revolutionary way to see the world and meet new people without having to splurge ridiculous sums of money on hotels/accommodation/guides and hope to see the community on this site grow and prosper for years to come.

Interests

I'm a music nut ! I love all types of music and every activity involving music, whether it be listening, playing, writing or producing. My primary instrument is the guitar where my preferred playing styles are Classical & Jazz but I'm never hesitant to try my hand at something new !

I love a lot of visual mediums of art whether it be the literal, basic definition of a well crafted picture or something more storyline focused be it great film or television (Breaking Bad, The Wire, Sopranos, Game Of Thrones, etc.).

Finally I have a desire to try new things at every given opportunity whether that be the obvious (visiting new places, trying new foods) to the less obvious (trying new region specific sports, eg. American Football)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music :
I have a very eclectic taste in music with my favourite artists ranging from hard-rock heroes such as Deftones and Pearl Jam to Funk extraordinaire Stevie Wonder and everything in between whether it be Jazz, Hip-Hop, Gospel, Heavy Metal, Tribal, Soul, RN'B, Pop or Electronic. Don't even get me started on live music and concerts, I'm an addict !

Movies :
I enjoy most film genres but my favourite would be "psychological thriller" ranging from cult-classic "Donnie Darko" to blockbuster "Gone Girl" However my all time favourite movies are without a doubt the original Star Wars films, sci-fi heaven.

Books :
Not a huge reader due to a lack of time but I loved the "A Song Of Fire And Ice" aka "Game Of Thrones" series. In addition I thoroughly enjoy a variety of graphic novels for their amazing artwork and well written storylines.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share good times, friendship and a place to crash for all who wander. I'm happy to lend an ear to any friend whose door I pass through. I can teach you a thing or two on the guitar, some basics on the piano and a little bit of music theory if you'd like. I am eager to learn everything I can on my travels and help my friends do the same along the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll more than gladly share anything I have and pitch in with any work that needs to be done. Cooking, cleaning, looking after pets & any other activities you can think of are fine by me. I have a can-do positive attitude and will gladly try anything once.
