About Me
I'm fun. I love meeting new people and making good friends along the way. In a nutshell, I am living somewhere between who I used to be and where I want to be. I FIX PEOPLE FOR A LIVING.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Making connections and sharing experiences are the reasons why I'm on here. I love Chicago and sharing it with out-of-towners and making sure they bring home only great stories are my goals. I am unable to travel much right now so I am living vicariously through the surfers I host.
I have been actively hosting couchsurfers since October 2014 and by far it has been one of the most rewarding and life-changing experiences for me. It's the opportunity of being able to actually have THAT real human experience of connecting and genuinely making friends. The moment you step into my place, you are immediately welcomed as a friend and not as a stranger. I go by the blind trust that people are generally good and that strangers are actually best friends that you just haven't met yet. That is my takeaway so far from my whole couchsurfing experience. Although I haven't really surfed with hosts yet as I haven't had the chance to do some real traveling, hopefully that changes sooner than later as I am really looking forward to satisfy my wanderlust.
Fair warning: I am more of a hugger than a handshaker.
Sidenote: My apartment is not a hotel. If you are just looking for "a place to crash" and not share the "human experience" that I am talking about, there are hotels, motels. hostels, and airbnb for that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Packing my bags and leaving a thriving business/comfortable life back home in the Philippines to get out of my comfort zone and start a new life (from scratch) here in the U.S. --- Another amazing thing I've done (and am still doing) is living life to the fullest. There is no other way to spend your time on this earth. That's 2 for you now. hehe
