I'm an open minded easy going person who likes to meet people from around the world. I'm also a father of three, though divorced. Kids are already grown up and I live alone. I used to work as a truck driver so I travelled all over Europe. My English is fluent. I also speak Serbian and Croatian and I understand most of German, but I'm not all that good in speaking it. Perhaps I can do a little :) I can respect people of religion, but I can not tolerate any kind of fundamentalism. If I had to choose, I'd pick cold weather over extremely hot one. I'm currently unemployed. I am not a smoker, although I do lit a cigar on special occasions. I'm a social drinker too, but I guess I can live without alcohol as well. I like tattooes and piercings. However, I really am modest and friendly person.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I am open to meeting new people. I guess I'm also lonely sometimes. Some company would be great. However unusual it may sound - I'd rather host female guests (girls, women). In fact - I will only host female couchsurfers.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like rock music, but I'm open to any kind of nice music of other genres. Actually, I used to be the owner of several music shops for some time in the past. I like Gabriel Garcia Marquez's books and style. Isabel Allende is also close to me. Argentina sounds like a dream land for me, although I know it is not. It probably has to do something with Diego Maradona, my childhood sports hero. Evita Peron probably adds to overall mystical feeling. Ernest Hemingway was/is also good. Movies: Quentin Tarantino opus, As good as it Gets, Mamma Mia, Hair, Crash, Babel, The Godfather opus ...
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I taught Elvis how to dance, John Lennon and Paul McCartney how to write a good song and Wayne Gretzky how to play hockey. Other than that I helped raise three kids and I'm very proud of that.

I'm villing to learn more about various ethnicities, travelling the world and people's phylosophies. I am very talented for languages so i guess I'm villing to learn more. I can share experiences from all over Europe. My appartment is overall very nice in a quiet building. I can offer bedroom or living room place to stay according to situation.
My Interests
I like sports a lot, on particular ice-hockey. However, I am more of a watcher than a doer. I do run occasionaly, but I have to be in special mood. I'm interested in making money online. Internet is my obsession. I volunteer a lot, especially on child-related organizations.
