I am more of an introverted person, which does not mean that I am shy. It simply means that I do not feel the urge to present myself to others to get their validation. Instead I am very interested in other people, their story, their values, their way of life and I like to observe my sorrounding.

Travelling is a good way for me to grow as a person and a lot of fun and adventure. When travelling I am always reminded that I love my family very much. I love travelling, but I also like coming back.

My absolute passion is sports. I am active in Tennis, Table Tennis, Triathlon and Mountainbiking. I like to exercise, get better and coach/help other people and teammates in these areas too. When I am travelling I always try to go diving and surfing, because I always liked the spirit of the people I met there.

A big part of my life is our family-owned and runned business. I work together with my father and my two brothers. Also some friends and some sport teammates are working for our small company. I see this as a great privilege. Sometimes it is also challenging, but I always try my very best to understand my colleagues and to create a good environment for them. Success is not the goal in the first place, it is a result of the actions, leadership and committment of all the people in the company.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My good friend David brought me here. Sometimes we are hitchhiking together because this is good for our comfort zone. The last two times we combined this with couchsurfing and had incredible hosts. Ina and Reka were so nice and kind so I had to subscribe to couchsurfing :)

I love the books of Eckhart Tolle (The Power of Now, A New Earth). There is so much pure wisdom in it. It has answered some fundamental questions about life for me. It teaches you a lot about yourself and the interaction with other people too. Also I like to read biographies of interesting people. I like to understand what drives them and what are their core values.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have not done this yet. But I will do it next summer with my good friend David.
We want to travel 2-3 weeks through Europe without any money. I know this will be definitely challenging and adventureous. I am really looking forward to this trip!
