Hello guys...my name is Martin, also called Maddinn (in Franconia, my original homeland). And yes, my surname is quite funny ;-). To make it short: after finishing high school I went for one year to Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, to do some voluntary work in a street childrens home. Then I studied for 6 years in Würzburg, a small city in the southern part of Germany and in beautiful Edinburgh (Scotland). Finally I stranded in Berlin, doing my PhD at the Helmholtz Center. Just for the freaks among you guys, in principle I try to enhance the efficiences of standard silicon photovoltaic devices by putting some fancy organic stuff on top. In my free time, I do a lot of sports, preventially outdoor sports like hiking, climbing, sailing, cycling, running. Of course I like going out to bars/pubs/clubs, having fun there, drinking beer...
