Hi, I'm Martin, eighteen years old and living in a beautiful little village called Korb, located in the south-western part of Germany. My family used to travel a lot when I was younger and now that I've finished school, I'd love to do that again, meet new people, countries and traditions! Even tough I tend to be rather quiet among strangers, I can be very approachable and open once we get to know each other. Yet I'm always friendly and serene, don't worry :-) I enjoy exchanging stories and experiences and fancy hearing yours!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I originally planned to Work&Travel in NZ once I had finished school with two good friends of mine, but then responsibility knocked on the door and in the blink of an eye I was stuck in university. But that doesn't mean that I've lost my wanderlust, which is why I like to travel as often as I can, meet new people and experience different cultures. Couchsurfing seems to be the best way in ordner to get an unclouded insight into a country and its people :-)

I've got a passion for series and movies, so I'm currently working my way through the IMDb Top 250. Some of my all-time-favourites would be David Fincher's Fight Club and Se7en, City of God, Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke (I have a penchant for Japanese Manga & Anime).
My favourite series are GoT (even though I prefer the books...), Breaking Bad, Californication Motherf*ckaaaaa, True Detective and Top of the Lake.

I never had a talent for making music myself, but I love listening to it all the more. You can get me with Rock, German, American and Australian (love it!) HipHop, Deep House, some Pop and also legends like Neil Young or Johnny Cash
