ABOUT ME

I am a girl who loves traveling and being outside. My favorite trips are those in which you get to know people from different places and to see beautiful and interesting things. I'd rather discover less known beautiful places.

PHILOSOPHY

I live in the moment, I try to do as much as I can while I have legs to run and eyes to see.
And I try to be nice to people while doing it.

Interests

My whole life is pretty much based on studying and traveling. As soon as I have a little money I like to just get myself moving anywhere. I'm that kind of girl you can call and be sure that is ready to take off with you even on the day after.
If there is an adventure to take over be sure I'll want to join.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of my favorite things, I literally live with it. I listen to it even while studying. It helps me focus, relax, but also get going when I have to work out or start a new adventure. I love going to concerts and discovering new artists.

I also like reading. I like classic books, books about animals and books of travels.

I haven't watched many movies because I like spending time outside rather than indoor, but I enjoy good movies and love it when people want me to share their favorite films with them.

I love art in general, I love paintings, sculptures, architecture, cool graffiti, sketches (I have some cool ones made by a French artist under the effect of different substances), tattoos, instrumental music- show me something and there is a big chance I will find it interesting if it was made by someone who wanted to express themselves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things are what I travel for. Here some of them.

The very first cool thing was because of my grandparents: we hosted a kid for a summer in the '90's because there was a war in his country and he was part of a beautiful project that let those kids travel to see beautiful things instead of death and violence.

I got lost in the woods with four guys I had just met and as it got darker we managed not to panic and get out (we had no lights because our phones were all dead). It was super fun!

The day after the boys and I hitch-hiked to a nearby city and after that I did that alone a few times too.

Got lost in Athens at 3AM alone and went into the Hilton Hotel dressed like a walking disaster to ask for directions. I was in the opposite side of the city from my host's house.

Watched a volcano erupt from a small boat in the Mediterranean Sea.

Went Cross-country skiing in Finland and reached a lovely frozen lake with people bathing after a sauna.

Split up with my travel partner and ended up having the trip of my life traveling solo meeting new people whom I got to share some great experiences with.

Met two guys at the hostel and went biking with them for 40km and climbing a mountain for 6 hours the day after. We were exhausted that evening but the climb...boy it was amazing.

Got lost in Paris with my best friend. She got mad at me because I was the one leading the way. I loved it.

I've been volunteering since I was 11 in favor of Ethiopia in a place where you meet people from all over the world, and this opened my mind and made so that now I feel comfortable around about anyone.

I love learning. I'm very open-minded and like listening to what people have to say.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a laid back girl and I would love it if my host liked to join me and share experiences with me.
I like living the best part out of a city, I am not one of those who want to tick monuments off a list, but rather get lost and enjoy the real everyday life.
