Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sharing personal stories and exchanging cultural conversation.
Our guest room is nice with private bathroom. 1 queen bed. Best to have a car, but when we are available we can help with transportation. Public train to Dallas or FT Worth is 2.5 miles from our house. We are in a safe neighborhood. Parking curbside out front. We have WI-Fi and if necessary a computer with a printer. If you are connecting at DFW airport and wish to spend extra time in the area, we are a few minutes away from DFW. Don't mind picking you up. I was employed 20 years at DFW airport and do volunteer work there as a retiree. I'm a great resource for info. We perhaps relate better with the 40 and up age as we are out of touch with the club scene in the area. But certainly we appreciate young people too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have hosted foreign visitors from Germany, USA, prior to becoming couch-surfers ourselves. Hosted an Exchange student 1 year in 1978. Have couch surfed ourselves and have found it to be an excellent way to experience the culture of other areas.
