Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because when I travel I want to have a chance to meet local people and spend time with them. I prefer being with locals than visiting the highlights of a city or what travel guides have to suggest. This helps also me when I am the person who is hosting because I give travellers the opportunity to see a city through the locals perspective. I love meeting people and living a simple life, and not much other than a couch and good company is needed.

Interests

My biggest interests are psychology and cinema and usually they are combined very well! I make films and write poems. I love traveling, interacting with people, going for long walks, riding bicycles-even if usually I fall, singing, reading philosophy, cooking vegan food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Totally American Indie music but also Scandinavian Folk. Something between Conor Oberst, Modest Mouse, Decemberists, Solstafir, Sigur Ros, Mammut, Smiths.
Movies well I can't even start with titles so I will try to name SOME directors: Lynch, Lars Von Trier,Bunuel, Bergman, Tarkofsky, Tarr and the list goes on
I can't read fiction books but I am into autobiographies, poetry books and psychology. Something like Walden, On the Road, Magic Camera, anything from Charles Baudelaire and Jacques Prevert.
