ABOUT ME

im a simple creature. i like good conversations, good food, friendship and good humor. i own a house that im in the process of collectivizing with a couple other people. eventually i want to get life squared away so i can travel some more-but like a grown up oogle. im kinda a queer punk at heart, but now im kind of a small town townie.

PHILOSOPHY
1) dont suck 2) find the points in life where you can dismantle power/privilege and build relationships out of mutual aid and solidarity and....well...do that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

because i like traveling/hosting & being a part of communities of traveler folk cause its, in general, a great experience to meet new people and see new things and think new thoughts and stuff.

Interests

theory-post modernism, queer theory, existentialism, aesthetics, anti-colonialism, anarchism, intersectional queer/trans-inclusive (if not centered) feminism.

music-im into a lot of things & i love supporting my friends projects when/where i can. i like things from crust to metal to old country and videogame music. i tend to be a singer songwriter, so im super into folk & good lyrics over interesting chords or finger picking-but i really am deeply into all kinds of music. its...kind of my thing.

also-forests, fire, foraging, bikes, kombucha, bad tattoos, pen and ink drawings, thinking about the post-apocalypse, human contact, laughter, bonding over life pains and pillow forts.

Teach, Learn, Share

expression is the key to the spread of any sort of understanding. so if ive anything to offer at all, its my willingness to open myself up to other people and be open to other peoples expression. im always willing to share this openness to anyone. so the gears of teaching and learning are always greased with me. i learn a lot through music, too-and ive learned a lot through songs written by other songwriters and enjoy it greatly-the whole passing the guitar ritual like some sort of talking feather...
