Hi, I'm March. Working for a company as a HR staff.

I have just started to host travelers from September 2018 when I moved in my current place.
I am a bit shy and a geek interested in art and history, but also love traveling ( and music)!
When I am on a travel on my own, I feel like "I'm alive", really.
Traveling is the one thing that can blow your mind and broaden your border, right?
And it's the time you happen to learn about yourself and your country more.

Through out my travels, I've been treated really well by the local people and I really appreciated that, I started thinking about what I can do for the travelers who come to Japan.

And then I've met the people from "Localife" where I live now. (And possibly, you will stay at.)
It's the kind of project that the residents are supposed to participate to create this unique way of living.
We are trying to live like travelers and at the same time, through hosting travelers, would like them to feel like locals.
I have 8 flatmates. They are all sweet and open-minded English speakers who love travelling.
And we try to host travelers who can share their stories, opinions, passion, recipes, ideas or whatever they can share with us!
I think this is such an unique place.

Now, one of my dreams is to be a local travel guide when I've retired from my current job.
But before that, I want to host and meet travelers who somehow have motives to come to this far. And want to know their stories.
And for me, it will be really great to know about your country, region and its culture.
I want to visit you someday!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music in general but the world music, Jazz and any traditional music intrigue me a lot.
I also play an instrument known by the name of "Koto " ( Japanese Harp).

I also like watching movies, one of my favorite movie is "The hours".

My first english book that I literally couldn't stop turning pages was " A Cather in the Ray".

Teach, Learn, Share

・Cooking japanese food
We can cook together some Japanese food in homemade style (I'm not a super good chef but...).

・Japanese museums info (or a short tour)
I love museums so if you are interested in Arts or History, I can give you some recommendations up on your interests. Or if you wouldn't mind me giving a short guide tour I'd love to do that (If our times are met).
