Hi there, This is my first time at couchsurfing! I am traveling with my friend Nik through Poland. You can find Nik on Facebook : Collin lesswood. My mother is from Poland and I know polish fluently and Nik is learning it. We are two friendly travelers with a affection to good humour and simplicity. We like theatre, literature, stupid movies and music. We also carry a guitar with us and Nik is a amazing guitar player and singer. We like Jazz, he likes metal, I like old polish ballads. Also he is a great and humorous company wherever you are with him. I am good at simple magic tricks and I can make great Indian chai. Nik is studying biology in Hamburg and I am studying biology and philosophy in Freiburg in Germany.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I hope to spend some fine time with new people and find a place to sleep ( it is not important if it is a bed or the kitchen table or the floor :) I also hope to get some personal exchange - we can play you some songs, cook good chai or a nice Indian or Italian dish and show you some simple magic card tricks.
Music, Movies, and Books
We both like Jazz. But Nik is a huge metal fan. I think his favourite band is a day to remember. He also played in a metal band for sometime. I am more the quiet one - I like Leonard Cohen, Belle and Sebastian and Simon and Garfunkel. We love to watch horror movies together, also we like stupid movies to laugh about. But I like french movies and documentations about majestetic animals like lions. We both love to read. My favourite book is " the old man and the sea" of Hemingway. He likes fantasy and old poems.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
He has been part of a famous band called inflator and I have published some stories and poems and I had readings in Berlin.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can teach to play and sing songs - German or polish ballads, metal songs, indie etc. I can teach to cook Indian dishes, because I lived one year in India. I can teach you card tricks. And we can share great humours hours :)
