TRAVELERS, PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT in Washington DC. We are in Washington State, on the West Coast of the US. Due to the high number of mistaken requests from DC travelers, any such requests to stay with us will be declined with no explanation or note. Sorry if this seems rude, but this is getting a little bit tiring. Thank you for the understanding. CURRENT MISSION Dustin: To go on adventures in the beautiful part of the country we're living in, to learn about quantum computing and machine learning and use them to make people's lives better. To finish the video game Masha and I are making. Masha: To meet fascinating people. To create many beautiful things and see as much of the world as possible in a lifetime. To finish the video game Dustin and I are making. PHILOSOPHY I think we're here to add a touch of the bizarre to everyone else's life experience.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Now we can finally offer traveling friends a place to stay, since we have our own house! We really enjoy having people over, and we try to make as cozy a stay as possible. Stay with us and you're bound to have deep conversations, play board games, or even come out and look at the stars in one of the darkest night skies in the US. But you'll also get lots of questions about your corner of the world - we want to hear everything! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Since we started offering our home as a place to stay, we've met many amazing people, a couple of whom became good friends with whom we've gone on great adventures. Having couch surfers makes our home a warmer, brighter place. We haven't had the chance to couchsurf ourselves too much, but hopefully that will change in the future!

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Climbed Mt. St. Helens and witnessed a rock slide. Descended into the bottom of the Grand Canyon and came back out after 5 days. Saw the hottest thing possible to see with the naked eye- the sun's corona at the total eclipse! Swum in many crystal-clear springs in Florida, descended down 35 feet (freediving) to put our faces against the gushing spring. Spent 2 weeks in Japan in a completely different culture with incredible people, music, and food.
