About Me

Undergraduate student living in Japan for a year thanks to a Brazil's government program (Science without borders). My research interest is wind power, energy distribution and storage systems. In moment hoping to complete master and doctors degree, but if everything goes wrong I will drop everything, get some money and do a crazy trip Europe->Asia staying in some places doing little jobs to get money just to live.

Learning Japanese little by little (Kanji's are hard), looking for language and cultural exchange. I am a Nikkei, my grandparents are all Japanese, but never learnt Japanese language properly, so I am trying hard to learn it now that I have the opportunity.

Going to Kansai region with somewhat low budget, so I am looking for help to find a place to stay those days. I will try to be the best guest as possible and I hope you enjoy our time together too. At moment the plan is to visit Kyoto, Osaka (Universal Studios), Nara, Hyogo (Kobe/Himeji) and if the money permits Hiroshima.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for a place to stay during a trip, some friends had good experience in couchsurfing. And the idea sounded really interesting, the opportunity to meet new people with different cultural points of view is great.

Interests

I am interested in cooking (love for good food), traveling, music, movies, TV/online series (e.g. Game of thrones, Friends, Breaking Bad and some animes), parties, cycling, new energy production technologies, different cultures, learning Japanese, games, etc.

Always looking to become better, so learning things or improving in something is an interest.

As for my plans for Japan:
-Climb mount Fuji;
-Shikoku Pilgrimage;
-Cycling trip during summer (Tokyo>hokkaido's northest point or Tokyo>Yakushima);
-know as much people I can, to share experiences;
-Hokkaido (Going on February for the snow festival);
-(...).

I am not a super good cooker, but I know a little and I really enjoy cooking.

Japanese culture differs a lot from Brazil's culture so sharing our experiences and styles of life sounds fun.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't have a lot to share besides culture and experiences from myself, but I hope to enjoy this trip to Kansai and if you want to enjoy with me during it I will accept you for sure.
