My name is Matt and I have been traveling all over Canada and the US since I was 17. I've worked in multiple resorts around North America and have only just started to internationally travel. I'm currently living in Japan, this is the first time I have ever been in a country where I do not know the language and have been alone during my stay. I'm a musician back home, snowboard instructor, cook and a plethora of positions. I'm very laid back, respectful and accepting of all people.

I travel on a budget, and am hoping to get a couch or floor i could stay for minimal money. I am hoping to potentially meet someone through Couchsurfing that can show me around the local places and must-sees of the nearby city.
