Overview
About Me
January 2024 update. I’ve just moved into my very own house. It’s a bit of a mess at the moment with lots of decorating happening. I can still host but please be aware it’s a mess. Also I currently have no bed in the spare room but there’s a sofa or if you don’t mind sharing a bed with me that’s fine. Hopefully won’t be too long until the spare room is sorted and comfortable for guests.
I’m a full time veggie and part time (absolutely terrible) vegan ha who loves cooking and trying new food from around the world.
I live by myself in Darlington. Which isn’t the best town but it’s close to some beautiful places like Whitby, Saltburn and York so good to use as a base. The dog in my picture is my mum and dad’s but he can come visit for the night if you like dogs too haha.
I work on the railway as signaller. Think air traffic control but for trains, it’s pretty cool but a lot of responsibility.
The best thing about my job is I have quite a bit of time off so I can come do some trips in Europe this year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want friends all around the world, and because of Couchsurfing, I genuinely have made some amazing friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love a night in with Netflix, I tend to watch the same shows on repeat haha. Brooklyn nine-nine and the whole Drag Race franchise are the main two. I also love documentaries, from crime series to air crash investigation.
Will listen to most types of music, I used to work in a record shop so that introduced me to music I would never have listened too.
I also have a monthly subscription to National Geographic magazine.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Theirs so many amazing things I’ve done while traveling.
However getting my Padi Open Water Scuba Diving stands out as #1, I don’t like swimming and deep water, so I went so far out of my comfort zone, but was worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have so many stories to share about my traveling, however It’s your stories I want to hear, because it’s those stories that inspire me on where to go next.
