ABOUT ME

Hmmm... well... We are both avid snowboarders. We both have very strong personalities. We both love the outdoors and fresh air (even though I USED to smoke; hardly anymore at all!) Mikki talks very fast and about anything and everything. She has wacky real life dreams and can sleep anywhere! Including in the car and any forms of transport! Matts mind never stops thinking, always analyzing everything! He can't sleep in planes or buses.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have only just become involved but plan to host as many people as we can manage when we finally choose a place to live. We also are going to hopefully surf a bit more too because we have met so many interesting people. We would love to become ambassadors for our area too!

Interests

Mikki: Snowboarding, Reading (all differnt types but love Mills and Boon: I know sad!) Writing letters and stories, Socialising and talking to random people! Running AFTER I have run, because I feel good about myself :) Eating awesome yummy food, COOKING. I love love love to Cook! Being creative! and I hate being Bored!
Matt: Snowboarding, Wake boarding, Hockey, Cars (old and new) Motorbikes, World-ley travels and anything to do with world, information in general (learning something all the time!) reading about stuff (anything so he is not bored) Being outdoors, hates being stuffed inside looking out a window.

Music, Movies, and Books

We both LOVE LOVE LOVE Music. Dance Music! Have seen so many but heres a few, most of them at Creamfields 2010. Tiesto (Mikki's fav!) Armin Van Buren, Paul Van Dyke (best show in Singapore!) Calvin Harris, Laid Back Luke, Casper, Nic Fancuilli, Cedric Gervais, Crookers, MstrKrft, Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Dirty South, SWEDISH HOUSE, and more... we LOVE House music!

We both Really enjoy reading too, Mikki reads anything from silly short love stories to thrillers to picture books if thats all the library has! Matt has to have something intellectual. He has to learn from it (facts) or he can not read it. hahaha (sorry)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our whole trip through Europe! But something in particular? Stood on top of the Fjords in Stavanger, Swam in the crystal clear waters of Kal Lake in BC, Canada. Went midnight fishing in Shoreham, Australia. Ran around naked on the deserted beach in Cuba yelling at the lightening bolts and thunder in the sky. (Matt) Drove 9 hours by HIMSELF through Desert from Valencia to Sevilla and didn't pass out and die. Survived Ibiza after one night. Survived Creamfields after TWO nights! Not nearly giving up when our car breaks down over and over again and having to wait in the middle of know where for it to be fixed.... to be continued!

Living through a 12 hour day at the Octoberfest Tents (I now drink beer hehe) and then surviving a week on a Sail croatia Cruise with others that only had one week to "live it up!" Kinda scary experience but so much fun!

Matt: "Did you know the human head ways 8 pounds," (he is currently in the process of verifying this piece of information because it appears it is out of a movie.. Can anyone clarify this?
Mikki: If you suck on your finger till the age of 11 or up you may well get buck teeth.
