ABOUT ME

Me: I grew up in Colorado, then moved to Idaho for school and have lived there since. People have described me as easy going and adventurous. I love the outdoors and I love meeting new people, seeing new places, and experiencing different cultures.

The Wife (Maegan): Grew up in Ohio, lived in Nebraska as well before Idaho. Have worked as a fast food worker, life guard trainer/manager, and now a nurse! I love life and trying new things.

PHILOSOPHY

Years from now you won't regret some of the things you did, but the things you didn't do. So as Mark Twain said, "Sail away from the safe harbor", " Explore. Dream. Discover."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ifirst couch surfed in Australia in 2009 and then in Europe in 2016. We have hosted 2 guests from California and had fun feeding them wild bear meat and huckleberries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great way to travel. I have nothing bad to say about couch surfing so far and have met some incredibly wonderful people. We hope to be able to host others as much as we can.

The Wife: Cooking, hiking, sewing, making crafty things, chasing the baby around the yard.

Me:I love a good action movie. Jurassic Park is probably my favorite movie. As far as books, I love all kinds. Louis La'mour and J.R.R. Tolkien are some favorite authors.

The Wife: I love any sort of happy music. I am a sucker for British series (Sherlock, Poldark, Jane Austin based series as well as funny shows New Girl, Mindy Project, etc.) I also love a good thriller movie. I love any good book with good writing about human nature, or a good mystery.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Took a trip through the Darby Ice Cave in Driggs, Idaho, USA and had an amazing time. 7 rapels and 6.5 hours later I emerged from the cave in awe. Definitely check it out if you're in Idaho.
Our honeymoon was also a great memory! Phuket, Thailand is beautiful and we were able to have a quick day trip through Singapore and Tokyo on our layovers. Our travels are usually quick, but fun!

Me: I will share or teach you anything you wish. I have had a variety of jobs and experienced a lot of things in the USA. I've lived and worked on a cattle ranch and also worked in a busy office in Denver.
