About Me
Hey there fellow couch surfers and :)
My name is Matthew, I am a nature loving, postive vibe, eager to travel individual. When I am not at my full time job as a paramedic working in the ambulance on the streets of Toronto saving lives I enjoy playing guitar, walking my dog, cooking, working out, and TRAVELING! I have been all over Canada and the United States as well as parts of Europe. I'd love to meet up with new people and share in their cultures and customs and learn about the world, while at the same time hopefully teach others while I am at it.
Peace and Love,
Matthew :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am visiting Madrid for a week this summer to meet my beautiful girlfriend who is working as an "Au Pair" - as I can not stay with her due to her Au Pair commitments, I was hoping to meet somebody to host me while I visit the city, meet up with her when her work for the day is completed, and meet a new friend who we could meet, socialize with, and share cultures over food and drink.
Interests
- Dogs, taking mine out for long hikes through the forests and learning about other breeds and their behaviors.
- Playing guitar, mainly electric guitar, rock, classic rock, blues, and soloing.
- Working out, mainly weightlifting and running.
- My job as a paramedic, learning about the human body and furthering my education in the pre-hospital environment.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am open to all different types of books, movies and music.
Some of the music I have been listening to lately is Techno, and Indy Canadian Rock.
The most recent books I have read are 1984, Game of Thrones, and Walden.
