About Me

Graduated school in 2015 and went to New Zealand. Lots of travel, little bit of work and WWOOFing and some couchsurfing. Went back to Germany for seriosity (at least pretending) and job, now breaking free again - with my longtime beloved joining the trip and with our rolling-bedroom taking us, where we want.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm confessed that it's the best way to get to know a country, its culture and people.
Locals know the best places and things to do.
In fact it's much better to experience things that are unexpected. Couchsurfing is being spontaneous if you're doing it right.

Interests

Music (playing guitar/drums, singing or simply listening to it. Did anybody say concert in town!?)
Going outside if the weather is nice. A little swim, a hike, what else? - Well, we will try surfing for sure.

Enjoying myself at arty places, galleries and interesting museums though I don't understand a thing. lol

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
Into the Wild, Mavericks, Tropic Thunder, In Gora... Love inspiring movies.
Music:
Ben Howard, Jack Johnson, Milky Chance (older stuff more than recent releases), Alt-J, The Beatles, Khruangbin, Strongboi...also 70s Vibes, 70s Disco, Jazz, Soul, Indie, Minimal and you name it...
But actually all kinds of music... depending on mood, place and situation.

Barely reading novels. Been reading Into the Wild, Siddartha, Cafe am Rande der Welt and liked it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam with super-rare Hector Dolphins in Curio Bay - no tour, just luck

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to help cooking local meals. I love to learn new tastes and combinations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

There is always something to learn from each other. Guitar crash course? I'm patient!
Like to welcome hosts at home, namely the Allgäu, Germany.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, England, France, Italy, Monaco, New Zealand, Portugal, Slovenia, Switzerland
